Situated on the east coast of Spain with almost 2 million inhabitants, inbedded between the ocean and the Pyrenees, it is the second biggest city in Spain. The capital city of Catalonia is the Spanish center for architecture, art and fashion.

For those who are not that interested in the theater, museums or the architecture in the city center, or in the monuments, then you can take a stroll along the popular «Ramblas», Barcelonas well known pulsating, pedestrian strip. The countless number of festivals, concerts, bars and international visitors make the nightlife in Barcelona, and the daylife, extremely exciting.
