Whitianga

Whitianga is situated on the peninsula of Coromandel in the middle of magic Mercury Bay. This historical coastal city is surrounded by white sandy beaches. The legendary first Maori landed here, as did Captain James Cook 1000 years later.
The city has approx. 3'000 inhabitants, which increases in the summer months.
