Sydney

Sydney

This cosmopolitan city will enchant you with its special flair and its unique skyline. Thanks to the Olympic Games in 2000, many nice restaurants, bars and cafes sprang out of nowhere, and have intensified the already multicultural atmosphere of Sydney. This fascinating city is situated in a bay with many peninsulas. The ferry will take you to the district of Manly, or to the famous hillside Zoo. There are many beautiful sandy beaches and coves for swimming. Sydney ist not only a place for beach freaks, but can also compete with other big cities in regards to cultural aspects. With 4 million inhabitants, a quarter of the whole Australian population live in Sydney. The world famous Opera House is the pearl of Sydney's skyline, the monorail sails above the city, the Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour, Kings Cross and Chinatown, as well as the many theatres, museums, exhibitions, shopping malls and restaurants will all leave a lasting impression on you.
