Mailand

Mailand is the fashion center of the world, it is the economic center of Italy and with approx. 1.3 million inhabitants, the second biggest city in Italy.
It lies in the north, in the heart of Lombardei, nestled between mountains and lakes. Mailand is only 2 hours away from the Swiss border by train.
The most important sights to see include the Gothic Dome and the famous „La Scala Opera“. Apart from the sights to see, Milano is famous for its cosy bars, restaurants and cafés, which are unbelieveably inviting. The many boutiques and shopping centers, get the hearts of shopping freaks beating faster and faster. In Mailand you are bound to have a good time thanks to the many events and exhibitions that the city offers, such as the evenings when the museums are open all night, or the Jewellery exhibitions.
