Swanage is situated on the south coast of England in the Shire of Dorset, about 2 1/2 hours away from London and has approx. 10 000 inhabitants. It's a very popular swimming region for tourists, and for the British themselves, because it enjoys, due to its geographical position, a very mild climate, and is one of the most sunny regions in England. Visitors are amazed at the charm of Swanage and its surroundings with the many contrasts between the mountains, calcium rock formations, ocean bays, and the long golden beaches.
