Kanazawa

Kanazawa

The city of Kanazawa is situated on the 'quiet side' of the Honshu Peninsula and is well known for its beauty and important history. Kanazawa is also known as 'little Kyoto'. It is very green and has a lovely atmosphere. The charming Kenrokuen Garden is an example of a typical Japanese garden, the time and thought invested in such a piece of art is immense, and this particular garden is a main attraction for people throughout Japan and for tourists. In Kanazawa you have the opportunity to get to know the daily routine of the Japanese and to experience their hospitality.
You should be able to find your way around the city rather quickly, and be able to wonder through many parts of the city on foot or with a bike.

Kanazawa is approx. 3 hours away from Osaka by train, and about 5 hours away from Tokyo.
We recomment you to choose the route over Osaka, because you only have to change the train once between there and the airport.
