The Centre of English Studies was founded in 1979 and has taught students from over 30 countries. The school is located in the middle of the city center on the same street as the famous "Trinity College". The main building has 9 classrooms and the administration offices. Around the corner from the school, is a second building with another 16 rooms. There is a large lounge with a cafeteria, a large television as well as 15 computers with flat screens.

Host Family
During your stay with a painstakingly selected host family, you will have a single room with half-board (full-board is included on the weekends). The families live in residential neighborhoods, up to 45 minutes from the city center. These neighborhoods are easily reachable with public transportation.

Student Housing
This housing is located approximately 4 km outside the city center in Whitehall. In the residence, there is a lovely courtyard and a small, pleasant park is nearby. The residence is equipped with wireless internet in all rooms. The rooms are cleaned once a week. Bed linens and towels are provided. The bus stop is only a five minute walk away. Near the residence, you will find the Dublin City University and the famous Glasnevin village. You live in a single room and share the kitchen and bathroom with other students. A 150.00 EUR security deposit is required upon arrival. This money will be returned at the end of the course, providing the room is in good condition. These accommondations may only be booked by students who are 18 or older.

Going Out Permission
Students under the age of 18 will be housed by host families. During the week, students must return before 10.30 pm and by 11.30 on Friday and Saturday nights.

Leisure time

The school organizes a widely varied cultural and free-time program. This program includes, for example, visits to museums, a brewery, a typical pub with Irish music or other places of interest. In addition, there are movie, theater or bowling evenings on the program. In summertime, there are full-day excursions, as well.
