In 1931, the College International de Cannes was founded by the famous French poet Paul Valéry. Since 1980, the college has been located in the Villa Santa Maria directly on the sea. The school has 25 classrooms, equipped with television and video equipment, a language laboratory, a computer room with 12 PC's and internet connection (for a fee), a library, a bar with a terrace bistro, a theater, movie theater and conference hall with 240 seats, a gym and fitness room, a private tourist office, a volleyball and basketball court, a sun terrace, a laundry room, public telephones, 110 rooms and much more. The school complex is lovely and well-manicured. The college is the meeting point for students from all over the world.

Host Family
This is an excellent opportunity for you to completely immerse yourself in French culture and to speak day-to-day French with native speakers. The host family will provide you with a single room including breakfast. The families live between 10 and 40 minutes from school by foot. These accommodations are available for students who are 18 or older. Some families offer half-board for an additional price. If this is a requirement for your stay, please ask us.

Accommodation

College
These accommodations are single rooms with wash basins; the shower and toilet are located on the same floor. The rooms are small, practical, well-kept, without conveniences and have partial views of the sea. Meals - you have a choice between half-board (breakfast and dinner) or full-board (all meals) - are in the school's dining hall. A security deposit of 40.00 Euro is required for the key.

Accommodation

Studio Apartment
You will live in a furnished studio apartment with a private bath/WC and kitchenette. Bed linens are available upon request. The apartments are located between 10 and 35 minutes by foot to the school. We would be happy to arrange for a studio apartment in accordance with our general terms and conditions. Renters are subjected to a 350.00 Euro per month surcharge for cancellation. This cost is not covered by the LTI insurance. The prices which are quoted are only indications and may slightly vary. These accommodations are for people who are 18 and older. Minimum booking: 4 weeks.

Exams and Certificates
The college is the official DELF-test center in the entire Cote d'Azur! Additionally, you will find the TCF and Chambre Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris administered here.

Leisure time

The college offers a comprehensive free time program. On the first day of school, you will receive an overview of the free time activities for the month. You have the possibility to register for various excursions - for example, Antibes, Nice, St. Tropez or San Remo. For active students there are also many possibilities: volleyball, tennis, mountain biking, squash, horseback riding, water skiing, table tennis, the school's fitness room and much more.
