The School
The EF International School of English is located in the center of Santa Barbara and is not far from the sandy beach. In the neighborhood you will find cafés, restaurants, bars and shops. The school is in a typical Spanish-Mexican building. The classrooms are very bright and roomy. The lovely courtyard, a modern language lab, three lounges and a cafeteria complete the modern furnishings of the school.

Accommodation
Host Family
You live with a painstakingly selected host family in a single or double room with breakfast and dinner. On weekends, lunch is also included in the price. As a rule, the host families live approximately 30 to 50 minutes from the center of Santa Barbara.

Student Residence Valerio
These accommodations are located in the city center. The school is only approximately a 5 minute walk away. You live in two or three room apartments, where you share a room with one or two other students. The apartments have a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room, which all of the students share. The price includes meals (from Monday to Friday half-board, and full-board on the weekends), which are taken in an adjoining building.

Campus (Summer)
From 15.06 to 30.08.08 there is additional student housing, which may be booked. These accommodations are located directly next to the University of Santa Barbara, approximately 30 minutes away by bus and 200 meters from the sea. The campus has a swimming pool, a barbeque area, a lounge and a laundry room. You live in a triple room. Breakfast and dinner are included and are served in the main building. These accommodations are ideal for students, who are looking for a collegiate atmosphere.

Free flight, excluding taxes, by booking an intensive or exam course with a minimum 12-week length. With the the 11-week exam course in September, you can book an extra week of an intensive course, to receive the free flight (not available for travel in July and August)!
Leisure time
The free-time program, which the school offers, makes it possible for you to explore Santa Barbara, while gettting to know your fellow classmates better. There are a variety of weekend trips to neighboring attractions (for example, to Disneyland® and Universal Studios® in Los Angeles, the Grand Canyon or Las Vegas). In addition, Santa Barbara, itself, has much to see and do. A visit to the zoo, the botanical gardens or a trip to the Santa Ynez mountains is definitely worthwhile.
