The School
The school opened in 2005 and is located in the center of Brisbane on Ann Street, only two minutes from Queen Street with its theaters, restaurants, movie theaters and shopping possibilities. The Central Railway Station and the main bus routes are also nearby. The school has 19 spacious, modern classrooms, a multi-media room, a library and 3 computer rooms. Students have free internet access and the building is equipped with Wireless LAN. During the breaks, you can play table tennis or relax on the balcony. There is a roof garden and a small indoor swimming pool as well as a small fitness center, which students may use for free.
On the groud floor there is a newspaper kiosk, a café and a restaurant.

Accommodation
Host Family
All host families offer a single room and are located approximately 30 - 40 minutes by bus or train from the school. A bus or train station is located near all of the accommodations.
You may choose from three categories:
Deluxe Homestay
With these accommodations, you are the only student staying with your family, so you can completely integrate with the family and have a private bathroom. They will provide you with breakfast and dinner Monday through Friday and all meals on the weekends. Washing will be provided.
Family Homestay
Here, you live with a maximum of two other students, from various countries with the family, who will introduce you to local family life. The students share the bathroom. The family will provide breakfast and dinner from Monday through Friday and all meals on the weekends. Washing will be provided.
Self Cater Homestay
This is the simplest form of the family accommodations, where the students live in a single room; you share the bathroom with the other students and are responsible for your own washing. Through this arrangement, there is the possibility that you live with more students with the same mother tongue as you. You only have a little contact with the family, who provide you with breakfast from Monday to Sunday. For the rest of the meals, the student is responsible, but can use the family's kitchen.
Double rooms may only be booked with a host family, when two people are travelling together.
Student Housing
In this profesionally managed residence, you may choose between a single and double room. You share the kitchen, bathroom and the TV lounge with other students. Students are responsible for their own meals.

Leisure time
Each week, the school offers cultural, social and sports activities. On Friday afternoons and on the weekends, excursions are organized. Those students who are keen on sports will find that Brisbane is full of possibilities: basketball, football, beach volleyball, tennis, golf, ice skating, bowling, water skiing and sky diving are only a few of the possibilities.
Culturally, Brisbane offers museums, theaters, festivals (Riverfest, Chinese New Year, etc.) and much more.
Take a trip to Fraser Island, to the Great Barrier Reef (Lady Musgrave Island), Moreton Island, Byron Bay or spend the weekend on a farm.
