The School
B.E.L.S. is a language school for adults located on Malta's neighboring island, Gozo. The school lies in the middle of a natural setting and is only 5 minutes from the next village, Kercem and 20 minutes from the main port Victoria. The school has air-conditioned classrooms, a private swimming pool, a sun terrace, a garden, a computer room (internet and e-mail connections for 7 EUR per week) and a room for self-study. The classrooms are designed for two, six or ten people.
The school is self-managed and creates a personal, relaxed atmosphere.

Accommodation
Host Family
The school offers accommodations with a Maltese host family on Gozo. Staying with a host family is the best way to improve your English and learn more about Maltese culture and daily living. If you stay with a host family, you have the choice of a "Standard" or "Superior" family. Superior families offer a higher standard of living and, for a surcharge of 5.00 EUR per day, a private bathroom, which is connected to your room.
In July and August, only double rooms may be booked.

Student Housing
Student housing offers you the chance to live in a single or double room (double rooms only in the high season from July to September). Bathrooms or showers, as well as the kitchen and living room are shared with other students. Bed linens and towels are supplied and are changed once a week.

Apartments
In addition, the school can book a range of well-equipped apartments, for one or two people (please ask us about the price for two people). A kitchenette is included. Bed linens and towels are provided and are changed once a week.
The apartments are approximately 10 minutes from the school. A few of the apartments are located directly on the coast, others are inland. Between April and October, studio apartments, which are on the school grounds, may be booked. Please notify us if you are interested in booking these special apartments.

The school requires a minimum of 3 students per level for a course.
Additional courses: standard course only in afternoons, private lessons
The price for a standard course from 8 weeks is only available, if the accommodations are also booked through the school. If you would like to book a course for 8 weeks or longer and do not wish to book accommodations, please ask us about the course price.
Leisure time
The school organizes many cultural excursions and entertainment activities. For example, visits to an archeological excavation, museums and other places of interest are possible each day. Furthermore, you can book a fascinating motorbike or bicycle tour or an adventurous jeep safari. Gozo is not lacking in sports activities either. For water lovers, there is excellent diving. Land lovers will be delighted by hiking or short walks through the narrow alleys of the villages, or the beautiful views of the Mediterranean from the island. In addition, in the summer, village celebrations and festivals take place.
